Cobbina Appiah is a Ghanaian-American producer, director, writer, and podcast host passionate about narrative-driven storytelling that amplifies underrepresented voices. He is the founder of Spinmaster Media, a production company specializing in creative development, production, and content strategy across film, television, and digital platforms.
His professional experience includes scripted development at FOX Entertainment, contributing to projects tied to Family Guy, The Simpsons, and Bob’s Burgers, and an internship at Nuthouse Sports, where he helped develop Games with Names, now one of the most successful sports podcasts on YouTube.
Cobbina’s journey began in podcasting, from leading his high school show Falcon Talk to launching Keeping Things Reel, which has grown its global listenership across 20+ countries. He holds an M.S. in Television (Producing & Management) from Boston University and a B.A. in Communication and Media from Merrimack College.
Based in New York City, Cobbina continues to blend creativity, cultural insight, and storytelling to shape the next generation of content.
